Why do you call yourself Mr? I'm sorry, but to me, every part of you just leaks presumptuousness. Drop the act man, it's irritating.

Theres no such thing as a British accent, Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland sound nothing alike whatsoever. In you're local area you can probably even tell apart accents from places in a 100 mile radius anyway. You're obviously making the video mainly for the benefit of Americans so why buy into their ignorance and xenophobia?

Hi, Mr. Duncan! I just finished watching your lessons 1&2. Watching your videos reminded me when I was little. We had the privilege to learn English early(ESL), we started when we were 3 y.o. with British accents & vocabularies. They have changed because of people I'm with, tv shows, radio, etc. I think it is very cool that you talked about this in your lessons. None of my teachers addressed this ever, & you have great insight about this issue. Thank you! I'm a big fan / a 27 y.o. student ^_^

where abouts are you from mr duncan? because your accent sounds southern, but the way you say words like 'ask' and 'answer' sounds northern...i.e. not like 'arsk' and 'arnswer'. |
