I don't take the SLK seriously, as a sports car! Has too much of a girlie, hairdressers image! Rather have a BMW 3 series coupe or Alfa Romeo GT anyday!!

mercedes benz, bmw are made with passion and soul but japanese cars makers just copy these car makers because they don't have imagination. not saying japanese cars are bad, they are very good and reliable but you can't feel the quality the luxury etc in them. mercedes benz, bmw are for true car lovers.

These cars are German. You can't compare them to Japanese cars. They require higher maintenance. Its all worth it though!!! German engineering is simply the best!!! Especially Mercedes-Benz

You can look at Lexus cars from 1990-2000 & compare BMW & Mercedes 1990-2000. Look at the exterior design of the cars, the technology, and interior. Lexus looked wayyy better & was better in all 3 aspects! Curvy & smooth body. Bmw and mercs looked UGGLYYY like its from 1940 inside and out!! I knew nothing about Luxury & i chose Lexus based on looks and luxury!! Thats truth. I would have been fooled by Mercs or BMW. They're copying Lexus design, luxury, technology, & eco friendly engineering.

wrong,everyone knows,a benz can last statistically 1 million miles. At least in germany,where the roads are nicer,even,and flat unlike here in the US, plus german know how to drive...i used to live there..my friend had 190e that had 399.000 miles and still drove like new
