yeah right!that's what I mean!when she went to Corse on holiday she was a young girl and youngsters use to play and joke and talk to each other!plus she had a Corse father!it's still strange to me that she doesn't speak one word of her father's language!unless she didn't deal with the jet set kids only...lol...but Corse is pretty rough as an island...or not?I was born and live on Lipari(Aeolian Islands) and I've found surprising how similar to Tuscan and Sicilian the Corse dialect is!ciao Guy

because her fahter is Corse, but her mother is from Normandy and Laetitia grew up in Noisy next to Paris, so she was just in Holiday in Corsica, so i think there she spoke French, because Corisica is France, and the "corse" is a dialect....

when Letitia Casta came to Sanremo festival in 1999 she didn't speak one word of Italian!her father is from Corse...now hell...how comes she doesn't even speak one word of her father's language?Corse language is very similar to Sicilian language for an instance....

her accent is beautiful. if you don't like then "forget about it" as she would say. i think it's natural and gives her a down to earth and shows that she's not ashamed of anything, wether it be her beautiful accent ( which btw suits her better than the nasty trashy accent typical american supermodels tend to have), or her beautiful body. vive la france!
