There are very few jobs that require a person to be 100% sure they want to devote their entire life to. My job is along the same line. I've worked with animals in a clinical setting for about 8 years. It's not all fun and games. You deal with some pretty nasty shit. But my love for animals keeps me going. Like the guys in this vid, there is no in-between. You either have the "Midas Touch" or you don't. So trust me, second guessing will kill your career before you even start it.

I'm a funeral director, so thankfully I just have to pick up the body, not do all the clean up. I hear ya when you say that the fluids and bugs travel. When we rolled this lady over to get her wrapped in plastic, the maggots that were under her just scattered. It was off. By the time we had her on the cot and out the door, it almost looked like the maggots were following us.

Its definatley a shocking job. I have been working on cleanups for about a year and a half. Its a nasty job, but like the guy said in the video you find ways 2 cope. It gets easier as time goes on. At 22 I never pictured myself ever doing this... We've done a few 'good ones' this year the latest was a woman who was dead for 6 weeks. Its amazing how far bodily fluids can travel expecially when a person dies on a second floor and leaks through to the 1st floor appartment ceiling.
