Dr R operated on me in 2001; I was 286, miserable; today, I am 166, feeling WONDERFUL.I would suggest this lifesaving, life-enhancing operation to anyone willing to work the program;i.e., eat sensibly, take vitamins DAILY, and exercise, even if it's only 20 minutes per day. i just had this surgery on the 21st of july i was in the hospital 3 days in less than a week i have lost 15 pounds...this surgery will leave no scars. This surgery has helped me with my life drastically I no longer take diabetes medcine now. One thing is that after surgery you will have to take vitamins for the rest of your life. If you get this surgery done dont think its a miracle its a lifestyle change and you still have to excercise and you have to follow the diet they give you to the T.

I've been looking into wls options. first time I've heard of this. I'm pretty sure that my insurance wouldn't pay for anything, and I'm really iffy about even asking my pcp about a referral anywhere. Not sure how to handle it all.

I have also been there and consider them fine surgeons. I was there in 2002.

If your insurance won't cover the cosmetic surgery check out Costa Rica at Rosenstock-Lieberman Clinic. I have been there twice and they are great...AND certified in the U.S. also. |
