this album allowed secretive Madonna fan's to come out of the closet... I mean as fun as the older stuff was (like a virgin wha wha wha...touched hee hee ..like the very first time oh baby oh baby) it was a bit embarrassing to have it in your collection ...exspecially during the grunge era... this album made pop music cool again... and proved pop music didnt have to be pure cheese
