Wow... that is fantastic. I want to teach my next child to sign, just because I believe the child would be less frustrated if s/he could talk to me.

is that the school thats in Big Spring..? my friend Wade used to go there. i think he has stopped as he is living in arlington now. but anyways. when i hung out with him and his girlfriend *one of my best friends* i could sign really really well.. but its one of those things like if you dont use it you lose it.. and i have mostly lost it.

It's interesting that the signs the baby uses are close but not exact, like a person speaking with an accent and you still have to learn their nuances yourself.

I volunteer at TSD (texas school for the deaf) at the church by it. And its crazy, there are some little 2 and 3 year olds and its so strange, watching them talk. Its funny cause sometimes when i am trying to tell them something i don't know if i am signing it wrong or they are just too young to understand hahaANY form of sign language is amazing.
