...actually the late 80's and early 90's were awsome for dance tracks, really progressive stuff came out of that time, stuff that makes todays crap look mass produced and lame.

I used to think it was J-Dilla until I found it was this European cat about 4 years ago. i don't think Dilla Dog ever made a house track. RIP and a Big WhatUpDoe!

This song blew my mind back then, and still gets me going 15 years later.

I hear you, it's not the most dynamic... to me the track is an absolute classic though - in the hands of a competent DJ. It was obviously designed as a set builder, and it does its job exceptionally well, and was huge at the time because of that.

Dude, I'm just saying it aint the most dynamic in the world, no need to be a jerk.

because the music industry is still populated with idiot managers, the same that looked at house music, couldn't understand, or commercialise it, and thus tried to kill it.why do you think the "industry" is in such a bad shape, while right now again lots of good releases are made? not because of downloads, since these have been proven to stimulate sales. Because for decades "they" have tried to shove drek down our throats.enjoy the music IMO, and don't worry about MTV

you obviously never heard it played except for your computer. just because you don't "get" it, doesn't mean this isn't a classic. and it certainly is. |
