@bluegirlz333666 No, it's not true. An orthodontist will determine what the best treatment is for you and make those recommendations. It may be best to wear a retainer prior to starting orthodontic treatment (getting braces), or it may not be.Dr. Bergh

@brianberghdds I also have a question whats the blue thing for how far down in your mouth because im scared im gonna gag and get scared and cry like i allways do even when they go to get the x-rays!!!

@NeverEndingKarla Me too. I must admit, this is the first time I've seen braces fitted like this (with the tray going over the teeth). I've always seen the brackets being placed individually by hand/tool.
