the tacoma is different because it is made for the american market. its a little bigger compared to the hilux. from what i know, this version if primarily for the asian and australian market and a bulk of it is made in thailand, while the tacoma on the other hand is made in the usa.

is the hilux being sold localy in japan? i have noticed that pick ups arent very popular in japan. i just moved to japan and im thinking of getting a pickup truck thats japanese made. any suggestions on what's a good pickup truck here in japan?

I think this car will still be very close to rollover , because Toyota refuse to fix the problems that made this car deadly in a emergency manuover. Like when you have to swerve for something .
